Cars have been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

It started with my dad’s 1969 Corvette—Riverside Gold, chrome side pipes, and impossible to forget. That car sparked something early. From trips to the Volo Auto Museum to working on whatever I could get my hands on, I was always drawn to the details that made a vehicle feel special.

My first real enthusiast car was a black 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe. It was far from perfect, which is exactly what pulled me into detailing. I wanted to understand how to remove the scratches, restore the finish, and bring back what time had taken away.

That curiosity became an obsession, and eventually a career.

I joined one of Chicago’s top detailing companies and spent the next six years learning the craft from the ground up. I worked my way from the shop floor to operations manager, eventually leading a team of more than 20 detailers and working on everything from modern performance cars to tired classics with decades of history behind them.

Will’s Garage began out of my own garage. The projects kept getting bigger, the standards kept getting higher, and eventually it became clear that this deserved a space of its own.

Today, Will’s Garage is built around the same thing that started it all: a love for great vehicles, respect for their stories, and the belief that proper care should make you feel something every time you site behind the wheel of one of them.
